Parallel Port!
Parallel Ports are a D-Type 25 Pin female connector typicallly located on the back of your PC. The newer parallel ports are standardized under the IEEE 1284. When creating the parallel port the goal was to make new drivers and devices compatible with each other and the previously used Standard Parallel Port. There are three commonly used parallel port addresses. The IEEE 1284 standard has three specific connectors to use with the Parallel Port. The first one is 1284 Type A is the D-Type 25 connector found on the back of most computers. The secound is the 1284 Type B which is the 36 pin connector found on most printers. The third and final connector is the 1284 Type C connectors which are for newer designs.
