I think that Kaspersky is the good antivirus software. It alerts you of new virus' and helps you prevent them. This Russian company comes out with the newest list of virus' to prevent and it is trust worthy. I would buy this software any day. The worst antivirus software is Adaware for me. It's reviews are horrible and it is not keeping up with our time.
