a PS/2 port is a female port on the back of the computer it connects on the inside to the mother board. common uses for this port is to connect the mouse joysticks or keyboards. there are many different configurations on pins inside the PS/2 port. soon PS/2 ports will be replaced by USB ports becuase they are much faster.
