VGA stands for Video Graphics Array. VGA is the standard settings for display on a computer screen. VGA connector uses a DB-15 and its alot like a serial port in that it has more pins. The VGA resolution is 640x480 pixels with 16 or 256 colors. VGA is the base resolution for safe mode or when booting up the computer. VGA was first introduced in 1987 on IBM's line of ps/2 arrays.

.)What does VGA stand for?
.)How many pins is a VGA connector typically?
.)How many P.C. display adapters support VGA?
.)When is this base resolution used?
.)What displays use both VGA and DVI inputs?
