Linux on a CD
The good reasons for having an OS on a CD is that you can use it anywhere and carry it with you. You can also use it to get around things that are monitoring a computer. Bad things are you can't do any saving on the computer while its on, and the drive you put it in won't be usable. It also takes a lot longer to boot on a computer than one that's already on installed on there.
