os on a flash or cd
Having an OS on a flash drive or cd is good because it is portable. You can carry the flash drive in your pocket, and have it ready to go when needed. Also it is good because you can put the OS on a flash drive, and if u don't like it you can just delete it off your flash drive. Another good thing about it is you do not need a hardrive to install the OS. One thing that might be bad about it is, you might have to buy a more expensive flash drive because the OS might take up a lot of data.
