Booting off CD/flash drives
There are a few reasons why you would want to boot off of a Flash drive or CD. Those reasons are if you dont want to get bad stuff on your hard drive like bugs or viruses. you also might want to use it if you want to do things that your administrator doesnt want you to do. the bad part about booting from a flash drive is that once it crashes or anything happens you have to re-download everything back to the CD or flash drive. also booting from a flash drive or CD would be slower then your regular hard drive so things might be a little slower. these are the pro's and cons on booting from a flash drive or CD
