The 60 minutes documentary showed a very negative view of hackers, especially due to the fact that the only hackers they talked about were ones that robbed people, or spread viruses, or committed other various crimes. The second movie though, showed hackers in a much more positive light, as people that aren't criminals with black capes and twirly black moustaches, tying your computer to the railroad tracks. They're mainly people that just want to learn about how the world works, and how they can make it better, and share their ideas with others.

60 minutes showed hackers in a very negative way, with all of them trying to cheat and steal from people, and spread viruses, and ruin people's lives. The only big events having to do with hackers that they showed were when one was arrested for spreading a virus. The second movie showed actual hackers, and actually had them talk about themselves, and how they all just want to know things. They're interested in knowing how things work, and taking things apart to see how it works, and put things back together, and sharing knowledge, and helping other people learn and understand things.

I think Reichelt showed both movies to show the contrast between the scare tactics and negative portrayals of the news, and the views from actual hackers themselves, in a documentary defending them and showing that they're not evil. The second movie was more informative about hackers as a culture, explained that they are in fact a culture, not just freaky guys living in their mother's basements, and tried to negate myths about hackers as well.

The second movie portrayed hackers much more realistically, mainly because it talked to actual hackers, and got their viewpoints, compared to the news organizations and their views.
