in this activity that we just did me and my partner john had a very hard time finding the right software we needed for free cheers mr reichelt had us do this so we would learn how to work wellll witha partner on our own without the help of a older wiser person. i have learned that Xvid is open source, Divx isnt. Xvid is generally better. However most devices that play Divx will play Xvid with no problem. they both are also MPEG's. i defiantly feel stronger about my skills to fix things on my own. afro affraid

thats good.... i had a problem trying to find a program that would convert the video for free also. I learned that there are some free programs out there that will do what you need but most are you have to pay to get the full version but most have trials. the trials might have a watermark on them when they convert the video like ours did.
