Linux on a CD/FlashDrive
I think that having Linux on a CD or a Flash Drive is good but has some consequences. When installing Linux to a CD or a Flash Drive you can do pretty much anything. This means you can go to different places and use the CD or Flash Drive with Linux and be able to do anything. With the Linux from a CD or Flash Drive without being blocked. But if you use this you wont be able to save files for your next session. So if you are planing on using a CD or Flash Drive to boot Linux you should also have a Flash Drive for your that you may need.

I agree with the kid because it is easy to boot off a portable device and makes it easy to use. Also, when you also have a USB drive, you can do a lot of the things that you can on an OS installed to a hard drive.
